In April 2019 I was asked to join a University of Manchester MA Architecture project to renovate the communal garden of Victoria House, a supported living accommodation in Openshaw, Manchester. My role was to lead students and residents in the painting of a mural.

The painting process was adapted to encourage resident participation, who fed back that the collaboration was an engaging and cathartic experience, their ideas embedded in messages across the cityscape we painted.
